

According to Deadline, the 2015 French comedy drama with the original title of, Dix Pour Cent, aka Ten Percent, will be coming to America with the title, Call My Agent, produced by HBO. Sarah Schneider (The Chair Company, Saturday Night Live) will be the writer and the executive producer of this new comedy.
Deadline mentions that the original series ran for four seasons in France. The series followed specific talent agents and their relationships with their actors/clients on their roster. Many of the actor/clients played themselves as the French celebrities. The French series stars Camille Cottin (Rembrandt, In the Land of Arto) Gregory Montal (The Kollective, The Signal – 149 KHZ) Liliane Rovere (La Cache, Emily in Paris) and Thibault de Montalembert (Champagne Problems, Under The Dark Sun). The series won an Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series in 2021 and has been adapted by about a dozen other countries.
Deadline noted that as the writer and producers move forward in the development of the new American series, the American adaptation will be slightly different from the original series. The premise will be told in sports representation. The show will allegedly follow four obsessed sports agents who are struggling to balance their work life and personal lives, plus the needs of their clients.
According to Variety, The log line for the American version will be,“Four work-obsessed sports agents struggle to balance their personal lives and their clients’ needs in an industry where, more and more, it feels like being an athlete is just the start.”
According to Deadline, French media conglomerate Mediawan’s Mon Voisin Productions and Mother Productions will be behind the US remake under Plan B. Fulwell Entertainment’s Springhill Studios, which is led by LeBron James (On The Rise: Juju Watkins, Next Gen Chef) and Maverick Carter (Naomi Osaka: The Second Set, The Crossover: The Story of Laurence Moses Bryant), will also produce.
