HBO Adds Linda Cardellini To ‘DTF St. Louis’ Cast

According to TVLine, Linda Cardellini (Dead to Me, Daddy’s Home) was added to the DTF St. Louis cast. The show was created by Steve Conrad (Patriot, The Promotion), who is also a director, executive producer, showrunner and writer. Details on her character have yet to be disclosed, but fans can expect her to appear on screen.

The logline for the dark comedy via HBO is as follows: “A love triangle “a love triangle between three adults experiencing middle-age malaise that leads to one of them ending up dead.”

Per TVLine, the seven-episode series stars David Harbour (Stranger Things, A Walk Among the Tombstones) and Jason Bateman (This Is Where I Leave You, Little House on the Prairie), who are also executive producers. Mxdwn has covered this announcement, which can be read here

Cardellini will reconnect with Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman (My First Time Driving, The Enigma with a Stigma) in the upcoming Netflix dark comedy No Good Deed. She will share the screen with Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond, Ice Age), Lisa Kudrow (Friends, Easy A), Denis Leary (Rescue Me, The Sandlot), Luke Wilson (Legally Blonde, That 70’s Show), Abbi Jacobson (A League of Their Own, Broad City), O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale, Maxxx), Poppy Liu (Dead Ringers, Hacks) and Teyonah Parris (WandaVision, The Marvels). Mxdwn has also announced and covered No Good Deed’s full trailer and teaser

HBO states that executive vice president and head of HBO drama series and films, Francesca Orsi (A Crack in the Floor, The Attack 2), commented on the show by saying, “We are tremendously excited to work with the brilliant auteur Steve Conrad, whose singularity of vision lies central to all his work as a storyteller. As stated by HBO, other executive producers are James Lasdun (Sunday, The Horned Man), MGM Television, Bruce Terris (Bad City, Outing Riley), Michael Costigan (Your Place or Mine, The Rosie Project) and Molly Allen (Iron Man, Seven Pounds) for Bateman’s Aggregate Films, Kristina Wenson (West Side Story, Violent Night) for Bravo Axolotl, Steve Tisch (Cassandro, Dr. Death) and Jason Blumenthal (Masters of the Universe, Seven Pounds) for Escape Artists.
