G.I. Joe is America’s top-secret mobile strike force team. The mission: to defend freedom. Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, millions of people are stuck at home and watching countless hours of television. The toy company Hasbro has released fifteen episodes of its memorable 1985 cartoon series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, according to IGN. Created by Ron Friedman (Transformers) and based on the action figure toyline, this animated series began with a five-part miniseries before transforming into the full series following the chain of command of these soldiers.
Hasbro has released a playlist of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero episodes on its Youtube channel. In these Hasbro released episodes, the lives and adventures of Duke, Flint, Scarlett, Snake Eyes, and others will be tested by the forces of Cobra Commander, Zartan, and other evil forces. The playlist of episodes includes two of the series’ five-part miniseries, “The M.A.S.S. Device” and “The Revenge of Cobra.” The playlist also incorporates the first five episodes of the show’s season one storyline, entitled “The Pyramid of Darkness.” What better way to spend self-isolation times is there than binge-watching an 80s animated classic for free!
