NBC added Harvey Guillén (What We Do In The Shadows) to the cast of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, according to Variety. Guillén joins the musical ensemble as a recurring character for season two of the series.
Guillén will be playing George, a new programmer at the same company that Zoey and her friends work at. The character is constantly seeking approval from Zoey and the other people that he works with. George will appear in the first episode of the second season which is set to premiere in 2021.
Most recently Guillén has starred in What We Do In The Shadows on FX. He plays a familiar/vampire hunter named Guilermo. He will be in the upcoming feature film Werewolves Within. Some of his credits include The Internship, The Magicians, Little America, and The Thundermans. Guillén won a GLAAD Media Award for his role on the Fox show Raising Hope.
Austin Winsberg, the creator of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, posted his excitement about Guillén’s addition to the cast on Twitter.
