According to Comicbook, King Of The Hill recently hosted a “question and answer” on reddit in which fans were given the change to speak to Hank Hill, the main character of the series. The series posted a number of memorable responses on twitter/X.

With King Of The Hill’s revival season breaking viewership records for Hulu, many are excited about the potential of a fifteenth season. While it hasn’t been confirmed, Hank Hill’s responses on twitter gave fans an opportunity to experience the characters of the series.

In an answer to a question about what subreddits he liked, Hank said “I don’t really use this Reddit thing, or any social media for that matter. One time bobby tried to show me a post from something called “Showerthoughts,” but I stopped him because it didn’t sound appropriate. I also bought a new laptop because I didn’t know where “the algorithm” was being kept on that one.”

Hank also gave hamburger-grilling advice, saying: “There’s no such thing as ‘the perfect burger.’ But cook on 80/20 ground chuck patty on a propane grill at medium-high heat for 3 and a half minutes per side, and you’ll come pretty dang close, I tell you what. Oh, and under no circumstances should you be ‘smashing’ your burger.”

Being a propane salesman, Hank also made his love for “propane and propane accessories” clear; In response to a poster saying that they bought a propane grill for grilling steaks, he wrote “congratulations on choosing the correct grill.”

He also illustrated a lack of familiarity with internet communication, particularly with usernames. In response to many posts, Hank chose to respond with by spacing and punctuating the usernames of users he responds to; “TheM0nkB0ughLunch” becomes “The Monk Bought Lunch,” “TuvoksDoRag” becomes “Tuvoks Do Rag” and “iitsvan” becomes “I Its Van.”
