As told by TVLine, Gaius Charles and Tessa Ferrer will be dropped from the show’s next season.
The two actors, who play Shane Ross and Leah Murphy, both interns at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, will no longer be a part of Grey’s Anatomy‘s cast in the upcoming 11th season.
With their leave, it makes a grand total of three interns being dropped from the ABC medical drama, since Tina Majorino’s character, Heather Brooks, was killed off on this season’s premiere.
There is no word on what will happen to other interns Ross and Murphy as of right now, but they are both expected to stay on the show until the season finale.
Sandra Oh, one of the original cast members, who has been playing Dr. Christina Yang for the past nine years, will also be leaving Grey’s at the end of the season, by her own choice.
