Freeform’s Good Trouble was renewed for its fourth season following the 90-minute season three finale, according to Variety. The sequel to The Fosters, Good Trouble follows Callie and Mariana, played by Maia Mitchell (Teen Beach Movie) and Cierra Ramirez (Girl in Progress), respectively, as they embark on new journeys following high school graduation.
The third season finale of the series shows “the residents of Downtown Los Angeles’ The Coterie as they juggle career, love and friendship and learn that standing up for what you believe in requires making a little noise and getting into trouble. In the finale, Callie questions the career choices she’s made,” via Variety. This season of Good Trouble, the longest yet, has become the most-watched season in Hulu history and ranks as one of the top 10 cable shows among women aged 18-34 this year.
Alongside Mitchell and Ramirez, Good Trouble stars Sherry Cola (Sick Girl), Tommy Martinez (NCIS: Los Angeles), Zuri Adele (The Social Worker), Emma Hunton (Happy Endings), and Josh Pence (Fun Size). Alongside this renewal, fellow Freeform shows like Motherland: Fort Salem and Cruel Summer were also renewed. The former show was renewed for a third and final season last month while the latter was renewed for a second season in June.
