The Golden Globes is an event set to praise films, television shows, and the outstanding performances of actors and actresses. The 2024 Golden Globes aired on January 4th, and Poor Things, Oppenheimer, Beef, and many others won awards.According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Golden Globes will air on CBS and stream live on Paramount+ for the next five years, starting with the 2025 ceremony.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Golden Globes used to air on NBC before it aired on CBS this year. The 2024 Golden Globes saw that the amount of viewers of the award show were up 50 percent compared to the 2023 Golden Globes on NBC. Specifically, the telecast gained almost ten million viewers this year.
Currently, Dick Clark Productions owns and produces the Golden Globes. It is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a collaboration between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge. This is a major accomplishment fro the Golden Globes, and and the future looks bright for the entertainment industry.
