In the wake of Cory Monteith’s death on July 13, the start of Glee’s fifth season has been delayed by a week.
Rather than beginning September 19, as originally scheduled, the season premiere has been pushed back to September 26. The delay will accommodate the show’s new production schedule, which is slated to commence in early August (via TVLine).
There has been no official word yet on how Monteith’s passing will influence the future of the popular Fox series.
