Jayma Mays will fill the role of Will Arnett’s sister in the new CBS comedy series the Millers.
Mays currently plays an OCD guidance counselor on Fox’s hit series Glee and has also guest starred in popular television shows the League and How I Met Your Mother.
The Hollywood Reporter noted Mays will be replacing Mary Elizabeth Ellis (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) as Arnett’s sister Debbie. The Millers will follow a recently divorced man named Nathan, played by Arnett, who becomes involved with his parents divorce when his mother moves in with him. Mays comes into the picture because their father moves in with her and her current husband.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Debbie is described as a married mother of two who is stunned when her parents split and sure her clueless father isn’t coddled in a bid to see him return to married life.”
Debbie and Nathan’s parents will be played by Beau Bridges and Margo Martindale, according to the Huffington Post.
The Millers comes from writer Greg Garcia, who has works on Fox’s comedy series Raising Hope, which has recently been renewed for a fourth season.
