The cast of Paramount+’s hit series School Spirits is hinting at season two finale so impactful, it’ll leave viewers reeling. According to Screenrant, the drama series follows the journey of Maddie, played by Peyton List (Jessie), who figures out the mystery of the disappearance of her body from the afterlife. Along the way, she meets other ghosts which are Wally, played by Milo Manheim (Zombie), Rhonda, played by Sarah Yarkin (Happy Death Day 2U) and Charley, played by Nick Pugliese (13 Reasons Why).
According to Screenrant, the series has upped the mystery with revealing that it was Janet, played by Jess Gabor (Shameless), that has taken over Maddie’s body and now has fled town. Additionally, Josh Zuckerman’s (Useless Humans) Mr. Martin has a secret that could potentially impact everyone.
In an interview with Screenrant, Kiara Pichardo (The Society), who plays Nicole; Kristian Ventura (Gray Matter), who plays Simon and Spencer MacPherson (Extracurricular), who plays Xavier, go on to give their comments on what lies ahead in the finale.
Pichardo starts the conversation with, “Higher. Maybe we shouldn’t put the expectation so high and then let them watch. It’s okay. [Laughs] We want you guys to watch it on the edge of your seat. No, it’s crazy.”
Ventura follows up with, “To guess the ending—it’s a lottery ticket. I mean, if you actually get it…”
Pichardo continues, “I don’t think they’re going to get it.”
Ventura added, “Think about the worst thing that could happen, and then worse than that.”
MacPherson answers, “There are so many moments throughout the season with these massive revelations. It feels like every other episode is jaw-dropping.”
Pichardo ends the interview with, “I feel like fans are going to be like, “Wait, what?” It’s going to be something like that. There are so many things happening. ”
As noted by Screenrant, the mysterious comment from the School Spirits cast suggests that viewers can watch the first season and episodes of the second season while anticipating future news on the other episodes and the finale.
