Gary Janetti (Family Guy) released a comedic video to his Instagram account featuring the characters of his upcoming satirical comedy entitled The Prince, as Deadline reports. The Christmas speech given by Queen Elizabeth II, and Prince George at her side, addressed the past long and arduous year, remembering the pandemic, wildfires, and social injustices, as George continuously interrupted her, bringing up the cancellation of Coachella and postponement of the James Bond movie.
The message was released on Christmas day to Janetti’s Instagram page in order to promote his upcoming animated series, The Prince, which will be released to HBO Max. The satirical animated comedy will surround Prince George from his time spent in the palace to life at school among commoners. The Queen, voiced by Frances de la Tour (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), begins her address with stating, “As we look back on 2020 and prepare for 2021, it’s important to take time and reflect.”
The short clip concludes on a vulgar yet comedic note, with the prince stating “Merry Christmas, b*tches, George and GamGam out.” The upcoming series will feature all members of the royal family, with Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) voices Princess Charlotte, Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean) voicing Prince Harry, Condola Rashad (Billions), voicing Meghan Markle, Lucy Punch (Ella Enchanted) voicing Kate Middleton, and Iwan Rhehon (Game of Thrones) voicing Prince William. Janetti will voice Prince George. The series can be expected to release to HBO Max in 2021.
