FX And Hulu Reveal Official Trailer For ‘Say Nothing’ Based On Best Selling Novel By Patrick Radden Keefe

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the FX and Hulu limited series Say Nothing has revealed an official trailer. The series, adapted from Patrick Radden Keefe’s (Empire of Pain, Rouges) best-selling nonfiction novel, will air on Hulu on Thursday, November 14, with nine episodes.

The logline is described as: “The series opens with the shocking disappearance of Jean McConville, a single mother of 10 who was abducted from her home in 1972 and never seen alive again. Say Nothing explores the extremes some people will go to in the name of their beliefs, the way a deeply divided society can suddenly tip over into armed conflict, the long shadow of radical violence for all affected, and the emotional and psychological costs of a code of silence.”

Cast for the series includes Lola Petticrew (She Said, A Bump Along the Way) as Dolours Price, Hazel Doupe (Float Like a Butterfly, You Are Not My Mother) as Marian Price, Antony Boyle (Tetris, The Lost City of Z) as Brendan Hughes, Josh Finan (Hellboy, The Gentlemen) as Gerry Adams, Maxine Peake (Funny Cow, Keeping Rosy) as Older Dolours Price, Jack Myers (The Book of Clarence, The Crown) as Elliot, Amy Molly (Animals, Call the Midlife) as Sarah Jane, Paul Mallon (Shameless, Whistle Through the Shamrocks) as Micheal McConville and Megan Cusack (The Cherry Orchard, Doctors) as Collette.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the trailer for the series opens up in Northern Ireland in 1971 and focuses on Dolours Price and Marian Price, who will become symbols of radical politics.

Say Nothing is produced by FX Productions and executive produced by Nina Jacobson (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes) and Brad Simpson (Crazy Rich Asians) of Color Force, creator Joshua Zetumer (Patriots Day), Keefe, Edward McDonnell (Robin Hood), Monica Levinson (Captain Fantastic) and Northern Ireland native Michael Lennox (Derry Girls).
