Fuse is celebrating LGBT Pride Month with the TV event Freedia Be You and Me.
The event will air Sunday June 28 starting at 11 a.m ET. Freedia Be You and Me celebrates diversity with music and TV. The event includes a marathon of Big Freedia: Queen Of Bounce. Big Freedia: Queen Of Bounce is a reality show following artist Freddie Ross whose stage name is Big Freedia.
Big Freedia performs New Orleans style hip hop called bounce. Bounce is defined by its fast percussive hooks and accompanying twerk heavy dance style, according to Offbeat Magazine.
The show follows Big Freedia through tours and behind the scenes drama within her crew.
The event will air 22 episodes of Big Freedia: Queen Of Bounce from seasons one through three. A recap of seasons one and two of the show can be found here on Fuse’s site.

The marathon helps celebrate Pride Month through its LGBT representation; Big Freedia is a gay male who uses he and she pronouns, according to Offbeat Magazine. It also serves as a recap for fans looking forward to season four of the show that will premiere on Fuse in the fall. Big Freedia: Queen Of Bounce is the highest rated programming in Fuse’s history.
Along with the marathon, Fuse will be airing music videos that celebrate diverse types of love. Music videos from Macklemore, Panic at the Disco, Demi Lovato, and more, will air throughout the day.
On Tuesday June 30, Fuse’s weekly music video countdown show Got Ur # will be focused on Pride Month. The theme changes weekly with Tuesday’s being Got Ur #Pride. It will be a guide to NYC Pride Week.
