Former Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki will be transformed into a Marvel comic book character. Although Palicki will only guest-star in ABC’s Agents of SHIELD, her character, known as ‘Mockingbird’, has the potential to reappear later on in the season.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, this former southern belle is an avid comic book fan and could not be more ecstatic in jumpstarting this new project. Joining the growingly stealthy roster of well-known names, such as Kyle MacLachlan, Lucy Lawless, and Reed Diamond, Palicki’s new role is only increasing the hype for this show.
As avid comic fans know, this is not Palicki’s first time wearing a cape. Palicki famously played the role of ‘Wonder Woman’ in NBC’s David E. Kelley pilot, as well as a character named ‘Nadia’ in the WB pilot Aquaman. Tune into ABC on September 23rd to see this crime fighting babe back in action!
