According to The Hollywood Reporter, Frankie Muniz (Stay Alive, Agent Cody Banks) celebrates the reunion of his TV family in the upcoming Malcolm in the Middle reboot. Muniz shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the revival, alongside his onscreen brothers Justin Berfield (Unhappily Ever After, Who’s Your Daddy?) and Christopher Masterson (Scary Movie 2, Made for Each Other).
“I was told not to post this yet, but then I remembered the theme song,” Muniz wrote via The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m just too excited for y’all to see the new episodes and I miss my brothers.”
Below is a post by Muniz on his X account, which served as a reminder of the original series.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the news of the Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair was announced last December and it was revealed that Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek, who portrayed Muniz’s parents in the series, were returning to reprise their roles. Berfield and Masteron later signed on to take part in the four-episode Disney+ series, along side Kiana Madeira (Perfect Addiction, Fear Street Trilogy), Vaughan Murrae (The Way Home, Before I Changed My Mind), Keeley Karsten (The Fablemans, Hunters) and Caleb Ellsworth-Clark (Nightmare Alley, The Silencing).
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cranston recently explained why Sullivan wasn’t included in the revival cast list. ”I talked to Erik and I said, ‘Hey, we got the show! It’s gonna come back.’ He goes, ‘Oh, that’s fantastic!’ And I go, ‘Yeah, so we’re looking forward to having you back.’ He goes, ‘Oh, no, no, I don’t want to do it. But it’s fantastic that you are,’” Cranston said during a June appearance on the Fly on the Wall podcast.
“He’s actually going to Harvard,” he added via The Hollywood Reporter. “He’s really, really smart, and I think he’s getting his master’s at Harvard right now. He said, ‘Oh God, no, I haven’t acted since I was nine or something. So I’m not into it.’”
Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair is expected to air on Disney+ in December.
