The latest trailer for Fox’s smash crime-drama Gotham has been released, and with it comes a preview for Jeremiah’s final act of insanity. The prequelized story is reaching its end, and it plans to answer the two burning questions of young Bruce’s trajectory towards the Dark Knight himself and if he will indeed meet the authentic clown prince of crime along the way. With the string of movie-length trailers touting the fruition of each and every villain’s carelessly laid plans, it seems that the gleeful preview for “Ace Chemicals” promises to answer those two long-held questions.
Season 5 has already taken a page from Jordan B. Gorfinkel’s 1999 80 some-odd issued story arch in Batman: No Man’s Land, which takes on the premise of Gotham being divided into sections, each of them ruled and dominated by varying members of the Caped Crusader’s Rogues Gallery. Now, Gotham turns its sights toward the long-awaited transformation of Bruce into the Bat himself, with Joker being the key culprit behind his rebuilding phase. And the newest teaser promises to answer just a few of the questions behind these developments, and the marketing for this final season has gone out of its way in being as cinematic as possible.
After all, this season features not only the Bat and the clown but has also released the monsterful Bane and the prowling Selina upon the city as well. And with Barbara’s pregnancy and the continuing of the titillating promos, Gotham is sure to have one or two more aces up its sleeve for what is sure to be a wild ride for the fans.
