Amazon’s “Hanna” Releases a Full Trailer that Promises Action

Amazon has released a full trailer for its upcoming Television adaptation of Hanna, offering audiences a glimpse of what lies beyond the briefly released premiere episode that was part of Amazon’s post-Super Bowl entertainment plans, making the premiere episode available to Prime subscribers for a 24-hour period. Much of the response for the initial episode exhibited just how close the series would stick to Joe Wright’s original film, as it seems Hanna, once captured, will once again dupe Marissa into an embrace the leads to her untimely death.

And while it may seem like a large re-creation, but with such a pinpointed cast attached to it, it may be that the original character’s storylines may differ in finality in comparison to their archs in the film. Whether or not that proves to be true, remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the entire first season will be released onto Amazon Prime on March 29. The series has little momentum behind it thus far, but Amazon has been taken-aback before with last year’s unexpected hit Jack Ryan. That show received a two additional season order, and if Hanna connects then that may be the case as well.
