According to The Hollywood Reporter, FOX has announced its midseason lineup, and it will look very different from its fall schedule. The network revealed the premiere dates for its midseason show, which will feature different programming in about half of its 15 weekly primetime hours.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new midseason lineup includes the return of the animated series American Dad! to Fox after it was on TBS for over decade. The series created by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane (The Orville, A Million Ways to Die in the West) will air on the network on February 22. Family Guy will be premiering one week earlier, along with Universal Basic Guys.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, following the list is The Simpsons, which will be concluding its 37th season on February 15. Witness the show’s 800th episode in its usual 8 p.m. spot and the season finale at 8:30. Family Guy will move to the 8 p.m. spot in February. 22 and get double runs at 8 and 9:30 for four weeks. The Faithful, Biblical miniseries that will air on the network on March 22. The Masked Singer will have a two-hour premiere in January. 7, then scale back to its usual hour-long format the following week. Fear Factor: House of Fear, hosted by Johnny Knoxville (Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, The Dukes of Hazzard), will also be airing on Fox on January 14. Other shows airing on Fox’s midseason include Best Medicine, Doc Martin, Memory of a Killer, Extracted, Animal Control and many others.
