FOX Renews ‘Bob’s Burgers’ for an 11th Season

A key component to FOX’s Animation Domination Sunday Lineup, the animated comedy Bob’s Burgers received a renewal for its eleventh season, according to TV Line. The FOX comedy lineup that includes the long-running comedy The Simpsons and Seth MacFarlane’s (Ted) successful Family Guy will have the animated burger-serving family back behind the counter as a part of its fall lineup. Created by Loren Bouchard (Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil), the comedy debuted in 2011 has run for ten seasons and has amassed a total of 192 episodes. The show has witnessed critical acclaim with two Emmy Award wins for Outstanding Animated Program in 2014 and 2017.

Bob’s Burgers follows the Belcher family as they own and operate a Northeastern burger joint. The family consists of Bob voiced by H. Jon Benjamin (Archer and Master of None), wife Linda voiced by John Roberts (Abby Hatcher, Fuzzly Catcher), eldest daughter Tina voiced by Dan Mintz (Adventure Time), middle child Gene voiced by Eugene Mirman (Delocated), and the youngest child, Louise, voiced by Kirsten Schaal (Gravity Falls). The series was set to release a film entitled Bob’s Burgers: The Movie on July 17, 2020, yet has had to push this back to April 2021 due to nearly all of Hollywood productions being halted from the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, there is no exact premiere date for the eleventh season. However, FOX revealed that it will remain in its Animation Domination lineup with its new season airing on Sundays at 9 PM EST. For new and diehard fans, the series is available for streaming in its entirety on Hulu.
