Kaitlin Olson’s The Mick is shaping up to be one foul-mouthed network comedy.
The A.V. Club premiered the new red band trailer for the upcoming Fox comedy series, which makes sure to squeeze in at least one f-bomb. The series stars It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Kaitlin Olson as Mickey, the profane aunt to a group of spoiled rich kids in Connecticut. The Mick was created by Dave and John Chernin. Along with Olson the series stars Sofia Black-D’Elia, Thomas Barbusca (who has had quite a career as a child star so far with Preacher, American Horror Story, and Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp), and Jack Stanton.
The series follows Olson’s Mickey as she finds herself suddenly having to take care of her niece and nephews when their mother is arrested. The red band trailer showcases some of the shenanigans the kids and their aunt Mickey will get into, like cursing out a sad clown, dealing with bullies, and stabbing a man with a stiletto.
The Mick will have a special debut on January 1st at 8 pm on Fox. The second episode of the series will air in its regular time slot on Tuesday, January 3rd at 8:30 pm.
