

According to Deadline, Netflix was not expecting to be overwhelmed by the loyal fans of the original series Stranger Things during its fifth and final season premiere. Fans of the series took to social media during the airing of the series to complain about the streaming platform freezing. “Stranger Things already crashed nice!” wrote one viewer on X.
“This Netflix crashing, I just wanted to watch Stranger Things,” another posted while one user echoed, “My Netflix froze, damn it, everyone’s logging in to watch Stranger Things.”
Shortly after writing, “Netflix seems to be down for me Nooooooo,” another fan updated, “And it’s back up, here we go! “I’m staying off this app until I finish the new Stranger Things episodes because I don’t want to risk seeing any spoilers.”
As per Deadline, Stranger Things is a Netflix original supernatural series that premiered in July 2016 and is now about to air its fifth and final season. The series follows a group of friends as they investigate supernatural events in their small town after their friend’s sudden disappearance. They eventually meet a a mysterious girl with psychic powers named Eleven, who escapes from a secret government lab that accidentally opened a portal to a dark dimension known as the Upside Down.
