Ever Carradine Joins The ‘Ballard’ Season Two Cast

Prime Video’s Ballard, is getting a second season and production is underway. With this new season actress Ever Carradine (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Neighborhood) has been signed to join the show.

For those who don’t know, the series tells a story about Detective Reneé Ballard and she leads the LAPD’s new and underfunded cold case division. It’s here where she tackles the city’s most challenging long forgotten crimes. Eventually Ballard discovers a dangerous conspiracy within the LAPD. She also navigates personal trauma, professional challenges, and life-threatening dangers in order to expose the truth. According to Deadline, Carradine will play Lauren Sousa, a devoted mother whose past involvement in an influential spiritual movement continues to shape her present. She is described as resilient and relentless, and will do whatever it takes to protect her daughter. Carradine is known for her work in The Handmaid’s Tale who later became a series regular and was also a series regular on the show Marvel’s Runaways.

There has been no trailer for the second season so we will have to keep our eyes peeled. In the meantime you can watch the first season on Prime Video.
