

According to Deadline, Eugene Mirman (Do You Need A Ride?, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver), known for voice acting on the animated series Bob’s Burgers, has been hospitalized with serious injuries after he was involved in a fiery car crash.
As per Deadline, Mirman was taken out of his 2026 Lucid Gravity after crashing into the Bedford Toll Plaza on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Bedford, New Hampshire, shortly before noon Tuesday, causing it to catch fire with Mirman trapped inside. No charges have been filed, and the single-car crash remains under investigation.
According to Deadline, New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte and a veteran state trooper assigned to her detail were among the bystanders who pulled Mirman to safety. “Certainly, their actions were heroic in what they did,” State Police Col. Mark B. Hall said in a statement. “Without hesitation, they put themselves in danger to render aid to someone who was in need of it.”
As per Deadline, Mirman is known for voicing middle child Gene Belcher on Fox’s Bob’s Burgers since the animated sitcom premiered in 2011. He is also known for playing Eugene in Flight of the Conchords during its two- season run on HBO in 2007-09. He has also guest-starred in episodes of Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer, Crashing, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and as Gene Belcher in a 2018 crossover episode of The Simpsons.
According to Deadline, Bob’s Burgers is an adult animated sitcom that follows the adventures of Bob Belcher, a stubborn but passionate burger restaurant owner, his eccentric wife Linda, and their three children, Tina, Gene, and Louise. Together, they navigate the daily struggles of running a small restaurant, dealing with rivals, and managing their unconventional family life in a seaside town with a crazy, rich landlord. As of now, the series has 16 seasons, with more to come.
