Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) Set for a Role The ‘Terminator’ Reboot

Emilia Clarke will play in the movie directed by Alan Taylor.

 According to Deadline, the British actress Emilia Clarke, who plays the role of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones has been confirmed for the role of Sarah Connor in the upcoming Terminator reboot.

Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) directed six episodes of Game of Thrones, including the Season 1 finale and the Season 2 premiere.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back playing his cyborg robot role and Jason Clarke is in negotiations to join the cast of the movie as John Connor, the son of Sarah Connor. He is leading the human resistance in the war against the machines.

Emilia Clarke and Brie Larson were both tested by the producers for the role in Terminator reboot, Zero Dark Thirty. The filmmakers are now casting Kyle Reese, who will play the role of the father of Jason Clarke as reported by The Wrap. In the James Cameron original movie from 1984, this part was played by Michael Biehn.

The Terminator reboot is expected to hit the cinemas in July, 2015.
