According to TVLine, the first three episodes of Only Murders in the Building will return on Sept. 9. After the Season five premiere, episodes will drop weekly, coming to an end with the October 28 finale.
We left the series off with beloved doorman Lester killed, dry-cleaning king of Brooklyn, Nicky “The Neck” Caccimelio, disappeared, and his wife Sofia, played by Téa Leoni (Madam Secretary, Deep Impact), arrived before Mabel and Charles to search for her husband, TVLine reports.
Mabel, Charles, and Oliver’s investigation into Lester’s death “plunges them into the shadowy corners of New York and beyond, where the trio uncovers a dangerous web of secrets connecting powerful billionaires, old-school mobsters, and the mysterious residents of the Arconia,” Hulu states via TVLine.
Throughout their investigation, podcasters uncover “a deeper divide between their storied city they thought they knew, and the new New York evolving around them — one where the old mob fights to hold on as newer, even more dangerous players emerge,” TVLine adds.
The Season five trailer for Only Murders in the Building, which is attached below, has officially confirmed the returning cast members.
