‘Doom Patrol’ Sets Premiere For Final Episodes Of Its Final Season

According to Comicbook, the final episodes of the last and final season of Doom Patrol will finally premiere. The DC series will be airing its last few episodes of season four on Max this October, wrapping up the series. Part one of season four aired in January and left many fans with questions following the cancellation of many other DC series especially after leaving the group in such a rough place.  Director Bosede Williams (The Good Doctor) states that the upcoming episodes will pick up right where they left off.

Williams told  Entertainment Weekly, “The show creator Jeremy Carver (Supernatural) really wanted to present Orqwith to the fans because they’ve been talking about it since Season one. We knew that it should be dark and completely disorienting, because the characters have never seen anything like it. It should be gloomy, just to really take them out of their elements.”

Doom Patrol follows a team of very traumatized superheroes who have each suffered different horrible accidents that led to their abilities. The group is formed together by the chief who makes everyone stay within the safety of his home. Season four follows these heroes as they are transported to the future where they find an unwelcome surprise where they decide whether the fate of the world or their happiness will be more important.

The series cast includes Diane Guerrero (Orange is the New Black) as Crazy Jane, April Bowlby (The Big Bang Theory) as Rita Farr, Matt Bomer (Magic Mike) as Larry Trainor, Brendan Frasher (The Whale)  as Cliff Steele, Matthew Zuk (Titans) as Negative Man, Riley Shanahan (the Gender Card Flip) as RobotMan, Joivan Wade (The First Purge) as Cyborg, Alan Tudyk (Harley Quinn) as Mr. Nobody,  and Timothy Dalton (The Living Daylights) as the Chief.

All current episodes of Doom Patrol are available to stream on Max. The last episodes of the series premiere in October.
