While not much about the series is official, the show is reported to be the product of Watchmen writer Janine Nabers. Malia Obama has allegedly been hired as a staff writer for the series, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon has refused to confirm these reports or provide any additional information on the potential series.
Fans of Glover’s show Atlanta need not worry that his future creative pursuits will prolong the shows upcoming seasons three and four. Via The Hollywood Reporter, production will begin on the next two seasons of the show in March. Since the last season of the show finished airing in May 2018, the next two seasons will be filmed back to back in hopes of preventing another three year gap between seasons.
