Deadline reported in an exclusive that Kim Ji-yeon (The Haunted Palace, Homemade Love Story) and Park Seo-ham (Children of the 20th Century, Dating Class) will be leading the upcoming Rakuten Viki K-drama Dive Into You. The fantasy romcom originates from Korean production companies Amuse Entertainment and Dexter Pictures, with the U.S-based streamer Rakuten Viki acting as investor and co-producer.
Kim is widely known for her work as a vocalist in K-pop group WJSN and its sub-unit, WJSN The Black, under the stage name Bona. Her acting credits include KBS’s Hit the Top (her acting debut), Girls’ Generation 1979 as the female lead, Twenty-Five Twenty-One, and parts in Pyramid Game and Joseon Attorney – both of which she was credited under her full name. She is signed to Starship Entertainment.
Park, also known professionally as Park Seo-ham, is a former member of boyband KNK, with acting credits such as a lead role in Semantic Error, The Murky Stream, and, most recently, Our Universe. His performance as Jang Jae-young in the adaptation of the original homonymous BL (Boys Love) web novel is widely renown, as the series became a social phenomenon for the mainstream South Korean audience, leading to a rising production and subsequent success for the genre in following years. Park is signed to NPIO Entertainment.

Per Deadline, the drama’s story follows Kim as Toon Ha-na, a girl who is thrown back in time after a near-fatal accident and finds herself body-swapped with her twin brother. Desperate to rewrite fate, she sets out to save her childhood friend, bodyguard, and first love Jung Woo-jae (Park).
The series will be released by Rakuten Viki in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, India, and Southeast Asia. The streamer heralds itself as the leading global streamer for Asian content, specializing in Asian television series and films with content distribution including community-created/crowdsource-translated subtitles.
From Deadline, Viki’s Chief Content Officer Jaehee Hong spoke on the upcoming release:
“We look forward to bringing Dive Into You, a series that is truly an international collaboration, to our highly-engaged viewers. […] It is a fine example of high-caliber Asian storytelling, and it has been an incredible privilege to work with Dexter Pictures and Amuse Entertainment to bring this wonderful series to the screen. We’re excited to explore future collaborations to drive even more fandoms around the globe.”
Continuing, CEO of Dexter Kim Donghyun said:
“Dive Into You is a project that merges the best of Dexter Pictures’ original IP creation and production prowess, the global co-production experience [of] Japan’s largest comprehensive entertainment group, Amuse, and Viki’s planning capabilities and unpatched reach when it comes to content distribution.”
