According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney XD ordered a new series called MECH-X4 (previously titled MTX!). The show will be a live-action sci-fi comedy series. The series is about four teenage boys who team up and take on the challenge of controlling a gigantic robot called MECH-X4, to keep their city safe from harm.
Up-and-coming actor Nathaniel James Potvin plays Ryan Walker a freshman in high school who has technopathy, the superhuman ability to control any type of technology with his mind. As a result of his technopathy, MECH-X4 the robot activates. MECH-X4 was developed by an secretive brainiac to protect at Bay City from evil forces.
After MECH-X4 awakens, Ryan recruits his two best friends and his older brother to help him manage the 120-foot tall robot. But, when the monsters invade their beloved city the four must act quickly and learn to work together as a team to pilot MECH-X4.
Playing Ryan’s older brother Mark is Raymond Cham (Teen Beach 2). Then there’s Kamran Lucas who plays Harris the genius friend and Pearce Joza as the quirky friend Spyder.
The creator for MECH-X4 is Steve Marmel (Sonny With a Chance) who will exec produce the series with Anupam Nigam (Defiance). Zach Lipovsky will be the director and will also assist as a co-exec producer for the show.

MECH-X4 is currently in production in Vancouver and will be released in fall 2016.
