Disney+ Debuts Season Two Trailer For Series ‘Doctor Who’

TV Line teases the new season of Doctor Who with trailer exciting fans for the premiere. The tale of Doctor Who has been around for quite some time with over fourteen different series. Despite the various versions of the show, fans still come back for more. In the most recent Doctor Who we follow Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education) as he jets all over the universe Ruby Sunday played by Millie Gibson (Tales Of The Tardis). Fans rave about the action-packed trailer, ready to see their favorite characters return. Watch the trailer below! 

Picking up in the new season the Doctor and Ruby travel across all dimensions in a time-traveling police box named TARDIS. In season two viewers will follow the pair on a new quest, bringing their guest Belinda home to Earth. Belinda Chandra played by Varada Sethu (Now You See Me 2) joins the Doctor Who team and helps them battle their foes on the journey back to Earth. Like any show, their adventure won’t be easy. Showrunner Russell T Davies (It’s Sin) said in a statement via TVLine, “Only Alan Cumming could give a runaway cartoon so much wit, malice, danger and fun. He makes the whole universe of Doctor Who wilder and madder than ever, and it’s an absolute honour to welcome him on board the TARDIS.”

The Doctor shocks fans with the line in the trailer, “Our entire reality is in danger.” Season one ended with a shocking holiday episode. We catch Ruby’s character facing the god of death, fighting to get Gatwa’s character back. In the chilling finale, our heroes win the fight against the god of death and bring back TARDIS who was briefly missing. In the process, the team not only saved their friends but every planet that experienced the strength of the god. Fans highly anticipate season two after watching a heroic finale. Mark your calendars for the season two premiere, airing April 12th on Disney+ and BBC.
