

Disney+ is making some big waves with the recent release of the highly anticipated second season to their fantasy series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, achieving an impressive milestone. According to Screenrant, the second season opens up with a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, which depicts that the hard work of the team and cast of the series is widely recognized by the viewers and that they’re staying true to the source material. This far surpassed the previous season which was already a certified hit, earning a Certified Fresh 91%, in which this season will focus more on the adventures within The Sea of Monsters.
Reported by Screenrant, the season will have the main trio being Percy, played by Walker Scobell (The Adam Project, Secret Headquarters), Annabeth, played by Leah Jeffries (Beast, Empire) and Grover, played by Aryan Simhadri (Spin, Freakier Friday) going on a journey to find the golden fleece and to stop another war. They won’t be alone because they will be accompanied by Percy’s half brother Tyson, played by Daniel Diemer (Supercell, Absolution).
Stated by Screenrant, along their journey they will surely have an encountered Luke, played by Charlie Bushnell (Diary of a Future President, In the Know), who seeks to destroy everything related to olympian gods. Another demigod that is also seeking the fleece that gang will interact with is Charisse, played by Dior Goodjohn (Glee, Are You Afraid of the Dark?), who is the daughter of Ares, played by Adam Copeland (Money Plane, Interrogation). We will also be seeing new mythical creatures with the upcoming season such as the manticore, giants, and sirens.
The first two episodes of the second season of Percy Jackson are set to release on Disney+ on December 10, with weekly releases every Wednesday.While they wait, fans can stream the entire first season on the same platform.
