The culinary adventure anime Delicious in Dungeon is nearing the season finale, but before the epic showdown, a new promo offers a glimpse of a more relaxed episode. According to Comicbook, the synopsis of the shows follows Laios, voiced by Damien Haas (My Happy Marriage) returning, to the dungeon to save his sisters, accompanied by Marcelle, voiced by Emily Rudd (One Piece), Chilchuck, voiced by Casey Mongillo (Chainsaw Man) and Senshi voided by SungWon Cho (Solo Leveling).
As in the previous episode, Kahru tries to negotiate with the elves while Laios and the group are transported to the Golden Country, where the fate of the dungeon hangs in the balance. The promo tells the story behind the mad mage, Thistsel, and how he earned the name. We then see the group land in an unknown area and confront a Griffin.
According to Comicbook, the episode is scheduled to premiere this coming Thursday on Netflix, and Kadokawa gives a description of what to expect in the episode;”The group gets lost in a picturesque village that doesn’t look like a labyrinth where they spend a peaceful moment. Yaad, the ruler of the village, begins to tell the story of how an elf boy named Sissel came to be known as a mad magician. In this story, Sissel’s strong desire to protect those he cares about is hidden.”
While waiting for the upcoming episode, previous episodes of the light-hearted and action-packed animated series are available to stream now on Netflix. According to a previous mxdwn post, a second season of the anime has been confirmed and will be broadcast globally in April 2024. New visuals and a trailer for the upcoming season have been revealed. Fans can expect action sequences mixed with lighthearted cooking in the season’s finale and the upcoming season two.
