‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ Star Camila Morrone Lands Major Role In ‘The Night Manager’

The upcoming season two of the TV series The Night Manager has recently added a star to its cast. According to Deadline, actress Camila Morrone known for her work on the hit Prime Video series Daisy Jones & the Six is joining the cast. Although unspecified, it has been reported that Morrone will be playing a major role in the upcoming season.

Along with the young Emmy-nominated star, Morrone will be joined by British actor Tom Hiddleston (Loki, Thor: The Dark World) who is reviving his role from the previous season. Deadline has also reported that the return of Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), who played the role of Jed in the previous season, is unlikely.

Filming for the second season of The Night Manager is set to begin later on in the year. The new season will pick up after the massive finale of season one. It is also said that it will pick up eight years after the closing storyline, which reportedly goes beyond the original source material of the original book of the same title, which was written in 1993.

Other than the time jump, there is not much more information regarding the storylines of the new season as details are being kept under wraps. There is also no report as to whether Hugh Laurie (House, All The Light We Cannot See) will return to star as Richard Roper in the upcoming season.

The Night Manager is a crime drama based on a novel of the same name by John le Carré. The series follows Jonathan Piene, played by Hiddleston, a former British soldier who is called upon to start working as a spy. He is contacted by an intelligence operative and is tasked with spying on the international businessman Richard Roper.

The Night Manager season one is available to watch on Hulu.
