The CW is welcoming producer Scooter Braun to develop music drama that will feature original songs and surprise cameos.
Scooter Braun will be joined by Tony nominee Todd Graff to develop the yet untitled series according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show, penned by Graff, will chronicle the rise of a brilliant young manager named Gary Graham who has the ambition to shake up the music biz in a world of entertainment and social media where careers can be made or broken with one phone call and stars reach fame overnight.
Tony Graff will also executive produce for Warner Bros. Television alongside Tony Krantz for his Flame Ventures Production. Scooter Braun of the RBMG and School Boy Records labels and who manages such stars as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, The Wanted, Psy, and Carly Rae Jepson among others, will also executive produce via his SB Films unit.
Should the CW music drama go to series, it will mark the second scripted TV project for Braun.
