Wicked City has conquered up for a third season. According to Deadline, the spellbinding series focuses on the perspective of a group of urban witches, who focus on improving their magic, and uncovering dark secrets. It was co-produced and written by Kristin Iris Johnson(The Deadly Getaway) and Serena M. Lee(The Deadly Getaway). The arcane show made its televised debut back on December 1st, 2022. The show is executively produced by Donte Lee (Dishonorable), Tressa Azarel Smallwood (All In), Brett Dismuke (Double Cross), and Nikki Love (The Oscars).
The members behind the coven consist of Shaquita Smith (Safe Word), Chantal Maurice (The Family Plan), Chanel Mack (Senenca), Mercedez McDowell (Black-ish), and Vanessa Bell Calloway (Daylight).
According to Deadline, the second season was set three months ago with the coven unable to stop the magic slaver dubbed the Handler, who was played by Karon Joseph Riley(Saint & Sinners) and then they went their separate ways. The third season is sure to continue from the events from the previous season as the coven regroups and must tackle new enemies and in order to protect each other. The battle of the mystical series takes place in the city of Atlanta.
The members are all facing their difficulties, with Jordan running the Mystic Haven, Angela trying to find clues to Sherise, who has been captured by the Handler and forced into doing his bidding, and unbeknown to the coven, Tabitha and Caden are trapped inside the nightmare realm.
