It’s been nearly three years since we have seen My Adventures With Superman and now, the series will return with third season. Entertainment Weekly revealed a first look at season three on instagram with a post featuring a sinister Cyborg Superman.
For those who don’t know, My Adventures With Superman tells a story about Clark Kent who is building his secret identity as Superman and exploring his mysterious origins. According to Entertainment Weekly, the third season will be adapting the 1993 Superman story arc called “Reign of the Superman”. This story arc takes place after Superman had died at the hands of one of his notorious enemies, Doomsday. After his passing, multiple “super men” start popping up in Metropolis to take on the mantle.
The showrunner Jake Wyatt (Onyx Equinox, DuckTales) had this to say when it comes to the story arc and third season, “‘It’s not gonna be a retread of the comics,’ said Wyatt via EW, “but we did make all the writers read the comics. It’s more about, ‘What would we do with that premise now?’ It’s less Death [of Superman] and more about, ‘What’s a Superman?’ The fun thing about Reign of the Supermen is that it’s all these impostors who have the same power set but different values.”
The cast consists of Jack Quaid (The Boys, God of War: Sons of Sparta), Alice Lee (People We Meet on Vacation, Suits LA), Ishmel Sahid (That Girl Lay Lay, Jury Duty Presents), Max Mittelman (The Loud House, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir), Joel de la Fuente (Memory of a Killer, High Potential), Darrell Brown (The Invenios Expeditions, Operation: Aunties), Debra Wilson (Mouse: P.I. for Hire, People of Note), Chris Parnell (American Dad!, Krapopolis), Zehra Fazal (Dosa Divas, The Bad Guys: Breaking In), Michael Emerson (Fallout, Elsbeth), Kiana Madeira (Malcom in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, Baby Love), Vincent Tong (Lego Ninjago, Strip Law), Catherine Taber (Inanimate Insanity, Sistas), Jake Green (Hoppers, Wylde Pak), Jason Marnocha (Dandelion, Jump Leads), Reid Scott (Law & Order, Universal Basic Guys), and Kari Wahlgren (Superkitties, Invincible).
The series is set to premiere on June 13, 2026 at midnight on Toonami and stream on HBO Max the next day. In the meantime, you can watch the first two seasons of the series on HBO Max in order to get caught up in time for the main event. The third season will also include the character Jessica Cruz who will later lead her own Green Lantern series.
