Prime Video has launched new campaign titled “Obsession Is In Session,” aimed at highlighting the streaming platform’s growing lineup of young adult series and films, according to a press release from Amazon MGM Studios. The Launch came with a teaser trailer which showed first looks at Off Campus, Every Year After, Elle, Sterling Point, The Last Sunrise, The Love Hypothesis, The Devil’s Mouth, Maxton Hall, Drawn Together (Marfil), Your Fault: London, Perfectos Mentirosos, and Clashing Through the Snow.
The campaign is designed to draw attention to several upcoming Prime Video titles while also building stronger engagement with fan communities for romance, drama, and book-adaptation projects. According to the press release, the initiative will focus heavily on fandom culture and audience interaction across social media and live events.
As part of the campaign, Prime Video announced “Obsessed Fest,” a new fan-focused event set to take place in nya Studios in Los Angeles on June 27. The event will include cast reunions, screenings, fan panels, question-and-answer sessions, themed experiences, merchandise, and interactive spaces for content creators and attendees.
The campaign highlights several upcoming and returning Prime Video projects, enabling an immersive experience for fans of the shows. Many of the featured titles are based on popular novels that already carry large online fanbases, something Prime Video appears to be leaning into through the campaign’s marketing strategy.
Prime Video’s growing focus on younger audiences and fandom-driven storytelling reflects a larger trend across streaming platforms. According to the press release, the campaign aims to position Prime Video as a destination for viewers seeking emotionally driven stories and highly engaged fan communities.
The initiative also highlights how streaming services are continuing to expand beyond traditional advertising methods. Through live experiences like “Obsessed Fest”, Prime Video is building direct connections with audiences outside of the platform itself.
The “Obsession Is In Session” campaign appears to build on that same approach, centering audience participation and fandom culture as major parts of Prime Video’s broader strategy moving forward.
As of now, additional titles and guest appearances connected to Obsessed Fest are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Prime Video’s new campaign marks another push toward creating larger experiences around its original programming beyond the streaming platform itself
