Comedy Central Adds Complete Archive of ‘Key and Peele’ Online

The hit sketch comedy show Key and Peele has found a new home on ComedyCentral.com where 5 seasons worth of content has been graciously made available to fans and newcomers alike.

“If they made it, it’s here” Comedy Central boasts, adding 176 sketches to the site that were previously unavailable offline. The site is packed with content and offers the ability to view the show by episode or by collection, meaning any reoccurring characters or sketches can be binged with just a single click. The site also offers a “dictionary” that contains every notable word, idiom, and phrase uttered in the show along with a link to the sketch it originated from for context. Words like “dubstep” and “awkward” take on a whole new meaning to the duo, and iconic characters like Game of Thrones’ Khal Drogo get more descriptive names such as “Big Dave Navarro.”

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele first found comedic success together when both were added as cast members to MADtv on Fox back in 2004. It was here that the two realized that the interplay and chemistry between them was something that was born to breed comedy gold and they went on to create some of the most hilarious and memorable sketches that MADtv aired in 14 seasons.

In June 2011, Comedy Central announced that the team of Key and Peele would be back, this time hosting their own show that centered around their perfect blend of absurdity and humor. The show premiered on the network in January 2012 and consisted of a series of sketches, based on topics ranging from substitute teachers to gangs, intercut with scenes of the two interacting with a studio audience and setting them up for the following sketch. The show ran for five seasons and one special. The final episode aired in September 2015, giving fans an entire 53 episodes worth of content. Now any of those who missed an episode or any who feel like giving the show a chance can dive straight into the ludicrous world of Key and Peele online.

The decision to add the series online should prove to be a successful one as many of the sketches produced by the show thrived as short clips across the internet, providing many with big laughs in bite-sized pieces that could be popped like candy throughout the day. For those who are jonesing for more from the duo, or those looking for something bigger to chew on, the two recently starred in the big screen movie Keanu, following their harrowing and violent journey to retrieve a lost kitten.
