USA has debuted a trailer for its upcoming drama, Colony, at the San Diego Comic-Con.
The up and coming drama will star Josh Holloway (Lost) and Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead). The executive producers for this project are Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Ryan Condal (Hercules).
At Comic-Con on Friday, the cast and producers of the series discussed the upcoming drama at an open panel. Attendees got a first-look at the trailer and also a showing of the first eleven minutes of the upcoming premiere episode.
According to The Wrap, the series follows one family making decisions to help the struggling human race survive. The family is facing challenges that will change the course of history. The time of the show is set in the future in Los Angeles. The city is currently being controlled by a group of outside invaders. The citizens of Los Angeles are torn; they have to choose a side. They can collaborate with the new authority, or they can rebel and face the consequences.
Colony will premiere in October on USA and is a co-production between Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions.
