According to TVLine, the actress was just cast as the leading lady in the network’s new pilot.
Wilson, who is better known for playing Penny on Happy Endings, is married to Marry Me‘s writer and executive producer, David Caspen (who also served as an EP in Happy Endings).
This new NBC comedy will focus on Annie (Wilson) and Jeff (still to be cast), a happy couple who decids to get engaged and starts to struggle once that happens.
Earlier this month, NBC ordered another comedy, The Mason Twins, a single-camera which script was written by Casey Wilson and June Raphael.
