Co-Chair and Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys announced in his memo that EVP and Paramount+ Head of Originals Jane Wiseman is leaving the streamer as the post-merger for Paramount+ and HBO takes place. According to Deadline, Casey Bloys revealed his new team of senior executives, who are from his original HBO team, will be filling in bigger but similar positions as before.
Wiseman joined Paramount+ after Skydance’s 2025 acquisition, working under DTC head Cindy Holland and greenlighting high-profile series like the upcoming series Discretion and the thriller series The Best of Us (2023). She also helped in the prolific output with Taylor Sheridan and the Dexter franchise. She was head of U.S. television at Sister and spent about a decade at Netflix as an early executive hire to expand original programming ambitions. Wiseman wrote in her memo on The Hollywood Reporter that she was proud of the team and being part of it. The new structure of Skydance suggests HBO will resume its logo name on the streaming portfolio, which does help in bringing the industry more viewers since it is considered larger than Paramount+ with about 82 million.
Bloys’ new team includes Francesca Orsi, Amy Gravitt, Sarah Aubrey, Nina Rosenstein, Glenn Whitehead, Nancy Abraham, Lisa Heller, and Jeff Cusson.
Orsi was promoted to President of HBO Drama Series and Films while Gravitt remains as EVP in HBO Programming and Head of HBO & HBO Max Comedy Series. Abraham and Heller remain as co-EVPs in HBO Documentary Programming. Nina Rosenstein also remains as executive to late night and specials, Glenn Whitehead will serve as President & COO for HBO and Paramount, and Jeff Cusson will be EVP and Head of Communications of Skydance DTC.
Bloys said about his senior executives that “these leaders and their teams have a long history of delivering consistently on the main metrics of viewership, awards and critical response. No doubt they will continue to do so across Skydance DTC.”
Bloys and Aubrey will work together with other Skydance leaders while getting HBO Max aligned to Paramount for a short time. Jane Wiseman will report to Aubrey, who is the new Head of Paramount+, Max Originals, and International Programming.
