The second season of Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again will showcase suprising team up with Daredevil, played Charlie Cox (Spider-Man: No Way Home, Echo), Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter (Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Breaking Bad) and Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter (Evil, Plane). Reported by Comicbook, the last time the trio last were together was during the finale of The Defenders, along with Iron Fist played by Finn Jones (Awake, Game of Thrones).
Stated by Comicbook, Ritter debuted in the MCU as the super powered, yet troubled private investigator Jessica Jones, in which had its own series that ran for three seasons. Ritter along with Brad Winderbaum (Werewolf by Night, Black Widow) goes on to speak on the titled heroine’s future and state,”There’s a lot of stuff that I’ve felt there was room to explore, and Brad and I talked about it,” Ritter suggested upon her return in Born Again. “And I am not going to say any of it, because we’re going to be doing it.”
According to Comicbook, this strong implication of an ongoing narrative for Jessica Jones post-Born Again is a huge signal that goes on to show that. This goes on to show that Marvel is committed to letting their street-level heroes have the spotlight, with such successes being the return of Daredevil and Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, The Accountant).
Reported by Comicbook, if the revival does happen, the series will follow the same plot in which Jessica battles villains like Kilgrave, portrayed by David Tennant (How to Train Your Dragon, Good Omens), while also confronting her inner demons. Viewers could also get aa deeper view into the complexity of the characters, while also being introduced to new villains and supporting characters.
While viewers await on the Ritter’s performance in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again which is scheduled for Disney+ on March 4, 2026, the previous one and other installments within the MCU are available to stream.
