Bravo, the NBCUniversal owned cable network announced on Thursday in addition to the renewal of 18 current shows (among them the Real Housewives franchise and Vanderpump Rules), they will roll out six new unscripted shows featuring ‘Bravolebrities’ Bethenny Frankel, Fredrik Eklund and Ryan Serhant among others, according to Variety.
The 18 renewed shows include:
Imposters, Odd Mom Out, Top Chef and Million Dollar Listing New York. Premiering this summer are The Real Housewives of Orange County and Shahs of Sunset. New seasons returning later this year include The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Flipping Out, Don’t Be Tardy, Married to Medicine, Below Deck, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Dallas, Inside the Actors Studio, Summer House and Vanderpump Rules.
Among the renewals include six new shows:
Bethenny and Fredrik Property Project: Bethenny Frankel and Fredrik Eklund team up as business partners “scouting, buying and designing multi million-dollar properties after flipping them. The fan favorites will also serve as executive producers on the show.
Sell it Like Serhant: Ryan Serhant (Million Dollar Listing) takes on short-changed sales representatives “desperate for his expertise,” offering tips and tricks to seal a deal and make a profit. Serhant is co-executive producer with Rob Bola.
Relationshep: Charleston’s most eligible bachelor and beloved Shep Rose from Southern Charm takes U.S. cities by storm. Rose goes on a mission to meet ‘the one’, enlisting his friend’s advice and help to find true love.
Southern Charm New Orleans: A spin-off breaking away from its roots in Charleston, sees a new group of friends exclusive to an exclusive community in NOLA “filled with wealth, legacy and tradition.” Underneath the glittering beads of Bourbon Street, secrets reveal the fragility of these high-life friends, while vying to secure a spot in this prestige circle.
Love Italian Style: Diann Valentine takes five beautiful single African-American women to Italy where they live in a Roman villa, and learn how to love again by breaking down barriers that kept them from succeeding in relationships in the past. Ultimately, Valentine builds the women up and injects the group with friendly competition as they all rival for a prize: “a hot Italian husband.”
A Night With My Ex: After separating and not seeing one-another since their split, ex-couples are “brought together for one night in a camera-rigged apartment with no crew.” What the ex-couples say or do will be shown on camera, revealing flaring personalities and drama offering surprising insight into forging broken relationships.
A Bravo exec made a statement to Variety, “Our fans look to us for a very unique brand of top quality unscripted content they simply cannot get anywhere else,” said Jerry Leo, executive VP of program strategy, lifestyle networks and production at Bravo. “With many established franchises showing strong ratings growth, we’re able to explore new frontiers, and we believe these new series are really going to resonate with our audience.”
