

Hulu is assisting Branson Reese (Strip Law, Mission To Zyxx) and Nicole Silverberg (Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, Las Culturistas) with a new animated series. Deadline has learned that the show is a sister show to Archivo Motors and Strip Law.
Deadline writes that the studio 20th animation is producing the show, and it is about three high school freshman nerds that do not fit in. The three kids are enlisted into a secret spy school. In addition to Reese and Silverberg, Steven Fisher (Short Circuit, Before the Flood) and Trevor Engelson (The After Party, All About Steve) will produce in lieu for Underground, alongside Patrick Newman of Mosaic and Tovah Silbermann.
According to Deadline, even though Hulu studios has its hands full with a lot of adaptations and productions, the announcement of The Kids From S.I.P.P.Y comes out clear. Hulu’s newest project is Deano, which is a half hour comedy of the life of comedian Ralph Barbosa. Deano was produced along side Isaac Gonzalez (NCIS, Westworld).
Deadline mentions that The Kids From S.I.P.P.Y’s Reese started writing, acting, and drawing in Los Angeles where he produced and acted in the animated series Swan Boy based on his comic of the same name. He also voice acted in PBS’ City Island as Frank Lloyd Light, as well as on We Bare Bears, and Oh My God Yes. Reese was also in a podcast for Dungeon and Dragons Rude Tales of Magic, and has made a comic called Hell Was Full.
According to Deadline, writes that Silverberg is Arizona born and Emmy nominated and WGA award winning writer, actor, and comedian. She started at NBC with Lonely Island and her first show was Bad Crimes at Netflix which was made with Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead Do America, King of the Hill) and Greg Daniels (Parks and Recreational, Space Force). She was an amazing writer at Full Frontal with Samantha Bee where she won an award, and edited at Reductress a woman’s magazine.
