According to TVLine, Starz released the official trailer for season three of BMF, which is a crime and family drama. It will premiere on Friday, March 1st at midnight on the Starz app. It also airs airs 8/7c on Starz proper.
TVLine said that “Inspired by True Legends, BMF Season 3 continues the story of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (played by Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), brothers who rose through the illegal drug trade from the depths of poverty in Detroit to the heights of fame and fortune across America.”
TVLine highlighted some of the events of the third season, saying that throughout the newest season, Meech moves to Atlanta in order to expand their empire, and while doing so, he faces rival crews and crosses paths with burgeoning hip-hop legends. While this is going on, Terry has to maintain hold of the fort in Detroit. However, as this all transpires, he has to face formidable rivals, some who are old and some who are new.
TVLine also highlighted the returning actors for the series, including Russell Hornsby as Charles Flenory, Michole Briana White as Lucille Flenory, Steve Harris as Detective Bryant, Kelly Hu as Detective Jin, La La Anthony as Markisha, Sydney Mitchell as LaWanda and Laila D. Pruitt as Nicole Flenory.
Along with the reterning actors, there will also be several celebrity guest appearances, said TVLine. These guest appearances include Dominique “Lil Baby” Jones (Payne), NE-YO (Rodney “Greeny” Green), 2 Chainz (Stacks), Saweetie (Keeya) and Cynthia Bailey (Gloria).
TVLine also took note of the show’s producing team, which consists of Curtis Jackson, also known as 50 Cent, creator and Detroit native Randy Huggins, the showrunner who is named Heather Zuhlke, as well as Anthony Wilson and Anne Clements.
