

While the gates to the Upside Down and the story of Hawkins has officially closed, this is not the end of Netflix’s Stranger Things franchise. According to Screenrant, after weeks since the emotional final season finale, Netflix’s has a revealed a documentary behind the scene named One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things Five. This documentary offers an unprecedented look at the year-long production of the final season, featuring behind-the-scenes footage and farewell interviews with the cast and crew, who reminisce about their journey throughout the series.
Reported by Screenrant, the official synopsis for the upcoming behind the scene goes on to states “A decade after rewiring pop culture, Stranger Things returns for its final chapter. One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things Season 5 is a sweeping behind-the-scenes chronicle that follows the cast, creators, and crew as they bring the final season to life—and say goodbye to the show that changed them forever.”
Screenrant states, the documentary will be expertly directed by Martina Radwan (Girls State, Spring in Awe). She confidently articulates her passion for creating this project, inspired by a significant global phenomenon,” I’m endlessly grateful to the Duffer Brothers for trusting me with a front-row seat to this incredible journey. Spending a full year on set with them was a true privilege—and an absolute thrill. Being able to get close and watching them bring this beloved show to life in real time was pure joy.”
Stated by Screenrant, this is just one of the many exciting projects that the series creators, the Duffer Brothers, are developing to expand the franchise. Among these is the highly anticipated animated series, Tales From ’85, which will narrate the events that transpire between the second and third seasons. The documentary is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on January 12. In the meantime, viewers can watch all seasons of Stranger Things.
