Get Out Alive With Bear Grylls takes a look at the adventurers survival skills in his new survival competition show. The show will be filmed in New Zealand in the wilderness.
Grylls will host and lead ten teams of pairs through their journey as they travel New Zealand’s South Island. The mission is to survive of course, act as a team and to not be eliminated. Every week Grylls will send home one team until only one remains as the victor to a grand prize of $500,000.
They will do it all through the mountainous landscapes and cliffs, thick forests, glacier crevasses and more physically and mentally challenging feats. The ideal is for the teams to survive the worst that mother nature gives them at every different level of altitude, temperature, physical ability and more.
Grylls will be watching either from afar or while traveling with the team to judge their survival instinct, resourcefulness, and determination. The further along the venture the teams travel and survive, the harsher the conditions. Civilization becomes closer, but for some patience is wearing thin as conditions become more unyielding.
