The network has renewed its drama hit for another season which will debut in the next spring.
Perry Simon, the general manager of BBC America has confirmed that the acclaimed series Orphan Black will have a third season. According to Variety, the 10 new episodes (set to debut in spring) starring Tatiana Maslany will go into production in September.
The renewal follows the award-winning thriller’s highly-watched second season. Orphan Black became the first ad-supported drama series to double its ratings from the first season so the second season in the adults demographic. The finale of the second season attracted 1.37 million viewers.
Orphan Black is produced by Temple Street Productions in association with BBC America and Space.
