BattleBots has announced a BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon, a new and exclusive Las Vegas live show, via a press release. BattleBots is a hit television show that features fighting robots, and is the world leader in the fast-growing sport of robot fighting. Seen in over 150 countries, the series was created by Edward Roski (executive producer on Comedy Central) and Greg Munson (executive producer for GameCaster), and is available to watch on Discovery+.
BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon follows the success of the BattleBots: World Championship filming season, which was filmed in front of sold-out audiences. The live show will be the world’s first robotic combat show to be exclusive in Las Vegas. BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon contains all the drama, action, and destruction of the original series, condensed into an 80-minutes live show featuring many famous robots that have accumulated millions of fans all over the world. These robots include Witch Doctor, Kraken, Mammoth, Lock-Jaw, Hypershock, and Whiplash.

The live show will also include several new robots that have been specially created for the event. Some shows will also feature rookie robots eager to try out for the next BattleBots: World Championship, which will be held in 2023 at the BattleBox Arena. Executive producer Tom Guterridge, via the press release, says “We can’t wait to see what new ideas will be brought to the BattleBox. Every year the robots get more innovative and dangerous. Now Las Vegas audiences will get a chance to see some of them—even before we feature them on TV.”
BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon will take place on Thursdays and Fridays at 6 p.m., Saturdays at 3 and 6 p.m. and Sundays at 12 p.m.. The show will offer different types of tickets: general admission at $49 per person ($150 with family bundles) to premium options up to $125 per person with limited VIP seating. Some VIP guests will get the opportunity to view the robots before and after the show, as well as meet the teams. The BattleBots store will sell apparel, toys, books, and other official BattleBots merchandise at the shows, and concessions will be selling snacks and drinks for all fans.
